The Japan Laboratory and Clinical Medical Exhibition JASIS exhibition, formerly known as JAIMA, began in 1962 and is held annually. In 2012, the show was the first held by JAMIMA in conjunction with LSIA and renamed JASIS. Today, JASIS in Japan is famous with Pittcon in the United States, Analytica in Germany and BCEII in China, and is known as the four major exhibitions in the analytical instrument industry. In addition to the major exhibition events, the show also includes a range of basic and applied publications, academic conferences, and new technology publications. During these events, exhibitors can publish their latest technological breakthroughs.
Mr.Horikiro, President of the Japan Analytical Instruments Industry Association, once stressed: " JASIS is committed to promoting the importance of research on analytical instruments to the government and industry, and to convey that analytical instruments are essential basic products in many different industrial fields, such as automotive, semiconductor and medical fields. As our products expand in the international market, the cooperation with foreign institutions and associations becomes increasingly important, which will promote our product standardization and the exchange of technology.”
